Clouds/Sunsets

I first noticed this cloud while I was driving to the grocery store. It was moving at a slow pace from north to south so once I got home I grabbed the camera and chased it over to Glenmore park. It was so impressive and ominous and not long after a tornado hit in Vulcan.

This is one of those west coast sunsets that are being raved about all the time. I caught this one while we were on the cruise ship to Alaska. Turns out they were rain clouds as that's what we had for most of the remaining trip.

This and the previous cloud is one that parked over our house this summer. It looks like a volcanic explosion and had the most interesting action at the top with parts swirling like mini tornados all over the place. Fortunately nothing came of it and it moved off and we never heard of any bad storms happening anywhere.

This is one of our famous chinook clouds that happen in the fall and give us some wonderful sunset conditions. It's a bit dark but then it's actually like that in reality.
